This week’s episode of Developmental Talent, the FreakSugar-exclusive professional wrestling podcast, features a very special sit-down interview with J.J. Maguire. For those who might not be aware (lots of you, actually), J.J., alongside compatriot “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart, has written music for some of the most legendary wrestling entrance themes in history for the WWF/WWE! We’re talking “Sexy Boy” Shawn Michael’s theme, “It’s All About the Money” The Million Dollar Man’s theme, and even “American Made” Hulk Hogan’s theme when he premiered in WCW! He’s had a hand in around 114 entrance themes, and has also helped to bring about some that were never used– like the un-used Macho Man Randy Savage entrance theme we hear a sample of during the interview! Not only that, but he was a part of Hulk Hogan’s Wrestling Boot Band, and even drove the Viper during Hogan’s historic entrance to WCW at Disneyland! We highly recommend you give it a listen– naturally.

Also, since the interview this week was really our focus, but the Royal Rumble is looming, so there will be a second episode of Developmental Talent this week!
