Living in Houston back in the late 90’s, I’d drive past plenty of freeway-side massage places, each neon-lit with the promise of something sketchy and probably sticky and wrong inside. All very SVU. Eric Wareheim of Tim & Eric-fame directed “Streaker,” a music video for the musician Tobacco (AKA Thomas Fec), and it’s what I imagine half of those places look like.
It’s House of 1000 Corpses for the sex trade. It’s NSFW, weird, the music is grotty and a little sleazy, and it’s literally the best thing I’ve seen today. The track is from Tobacco’s May 13th album Ultima II Massage, and dammit, I’m pretty sure I’ll be checking it out next month.
