This Wednesday, March 14th, Doctor Strange #387, a “Damnation:  tie-in written by Donny Cates, linework by Niko Henrichon, colors by Laurent Grossat, and lettered by Cory Petit, hits newsstands, with the Doc not in the best of ways after having his legs smashed, Vegas enforcer style, by a possessed Thor. If you’ve been keeping up with Doctor Strange: Damnation, you know that, last week in issue 2 of the main miniseries, we saw a glimpse of Wong and his assembled team of heroes in a not-great way as they attempt to free Strange from the demon lord Mephisto.

Issue #387 takes place at the same time as Damnation #2, so we’ll get a chance to catch up with what was up the Master of the Mystic Arts while Wong filled in Man-Thing, Brother Voodoo, Blade, Elsa Bloodstone, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider, Iron Fist, and Bats on the plan to save Strange and the resurrected citizens of Las Vegas. Looking at these exclusive preview pages that Marvel was kind enough to share, we just have one word to say: ouch.
