This Wednesday, Fables: The Wolf Among Us #45, written by Dave Justus and Matthew Sturges with Travis Moore on art, hits the the Internet for digital download, starring characters from writer Bill Willingham’s beloved series of fairytales running amok! Check out these exclusive preview pages that DC Comics was kind enough to share!
Sturges and Justus are always fantastic on the story, as they respect what creator Bill Willingham brought to the table with the world he built, while still bringing their own unique mark to the Fables universe. In addition, Moore’s pencils in these preview pages particularly caught my attention, especially his rendition of Bigby. While Moore has his own stylistic flare, Bigby’s wolf look is evocative of Fables artist Mark Buckingham’s take on the character, which is some of the highest praise I can give.
