This has been such a joy of a miniseries, in large part to Jody Houser’s characterization. She has a firm grip on not only what makes Faith standout, but also the larger Valiant sandbox of heroes and villains as well. Cary Nord’s work in these preview pages complements Houser’s sensibilities as well, with body language and facial expressions that leave no doubt to what the cast is thinking. And the plot itself has been alternately tense and ebullient, a balancing act everyone associated with the book has made look effortless.
