Oliver is no stranger to Vertigo, with The Exterminators and Hellblazer, and his ability to pace stories that veer from the ordinary is phenomenal to behold. However, as nimble as he is at pacing a story, Oliver’s authentic dialogue and character-building keep me returning to his work again and again. Dayglo’s art marries beautifully to Oliver’s wordsmithery, designing characters and locales that have a dynamism that prevent the reader from ever becoming bored or complacent.

Back in 1977, the streets will shake and the whole of England will be upended by their scheme, but what kind of implications will that have for our thieves in the present day?
