One thing that always strikes me about Sensation Comics is the effortless way that it is welcoming to newer readers, while at the same time giving older fans a complete story within each chapter. The dialogue in the preview pages is spot on, depicting a Diana who is wise and kind, but realistic. Her explanation about the nature of fairness is more revealing than any sort of info-dump exposition could provide. Coupled with Koh’s approachable and clean art and Sensation Comics is a wonderful examplar for any publisher on how to make comics featuring decades-old characters accessible.
