Actor Dave Franco (ScrubsThe Disaster Artist) will be making his debut behind the camera this July with IFC Films’ The Rental, starring a stacked cast that includes Dan StevensAlison Brie, Sheila Vand, and Jeremy Allen. From the press release description, it proves to be an uncomfortable affair–uncomfortable in a good way:

Two couples looking to celebrate their seed money from a new business venture, embark on a weekend getaway to a seemingly perfect house they’ve booked online. But what begins as a festive weekend for the four close friends turns into something far more sinister as secrets they’ve kept from each other are exposed and paranoia grows that they may not be alone.

And just today, IFC released a few movie stills to keep our interest piqued until the film’s summer premiere:

It’s like a sitcom bottle episode, but with far less funny and far more edge-on-your-seat tenseness. Those types of tales always make for good drama and catharsis (as Brie knows from all those Community bottle episodes).

The Rental debuts on July 24.
