After the cancellation of the Master Musicians Festival in Somerset, Kentucky, in 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, MMF returned stronger than ever in 2021, headlined by such musical acts as Blues Traveler, Bee Taylor, and Mojothunder. And this year’s festival has no intentions of slowing down, building on 2021’s momentum with a lineup that can only be referred to as extraordinary.

2022’s Master Musicians Festival lineup

Music superstar Grace Potter, formerly of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, will headline the festival, bringing her rock-and-roll stylings to the good people of Somerset. Potter is known for such lyrical talents on such as her albums “Midnight” and “Daylight,” as well as her collaborations with everyone from Kenney Chesney to the Flaming Lips.

Joining her at MMF is the legendary Marty Stuart, the beloved country and bluegrass music artist, most famous for his song “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin'” as well as his time with Johnny Cash’s band. Other musicians performing at the festival include the Wood Brothers, as well as Kentucky favorites such as Eric Bolander.

Tickets for the Master Musicians Festival are on sale at the official MMF site. The festival kicks off in Somerset, Kentucky, on Friday, July 15th, 2022 and runs through Saturday, July 16th, 2022.
