Orlando, FL – March 7, 2018 – MEGACON, the Southeast’s largest fan convention with shows in both
Orlando and Tampa Bay, returns to the Orange County Convention Center Thursday, May 24 through
Sunday, May 27, 2018. This year, MEGACON Orlando expects to welcome more than 100,000 fans
throughout the Memorial Day weekend with a long roster of celebrity guests, endless programming and
much more.

Celebrity guests will include Jason Momoa (DC Justice League), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park; Thor:
Ragnarok), Paul Reubens (Pee-Wee Herman), Michael Cudlitz (The Walking Dead), Charlie Cox
(Daredevil), Catherine Tate (Doctor Who), Cress Williams (Black Lightning), and The Princess Bride cast
reunion featuring Cary Elwes, Chris Sarandon and Wallace Shawn. More exciting celebrity appearances
will be announced leading up to the four-day event that also features family-friendly activities, shopping,
workshops, enhanced anime programming, costume contests and attractions like the Batmobile, Tattoo
Alley and more.

New this year, when the show concludes at MEGACON Orlando on Sunday night, fans can extend their
fandom experience with Star Wars: Galactic Nights, happening Sunday, May 27, from 7 p.m. –
midnight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The one-night event celebrates the entire Star Wars saga with
exclusive, out-of-this-world entertainment, encounters with Star Wars characters, a panel discussion with
creators of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – a new land coming to the theme park in 2019, special photo
opportunities, event-exclusive merchandise, specialty food & beverage and much more. Limited tickets

MEGACON Orlando is the Southeast’s largest comic, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming convention. In 2017,
more than 100,000 fans attended MEGACON Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center on
Memorial Day Weekend. MEGACON Tampa Bay launched in 2016 and continues to expand in 2018 when
it will welcome over 30,000 fans to the Tampa Convention Center, September 21 – September 23, 2018.
