After Marvel Comics announced at the New York Comic-Con in 2013 that it had sealed up the rights to publishing new and old comic issues of Miracleman, legal issues involving publishing in 2017 hampered new tales from being released. Those tales would have included comic creators Neil Gaiman and Mark Buckingham wrapping up a tale involving Miracleman 25 years after they’d initially started it. Now, with those legal issues put to rest, Marvel is now free to publish Miracleman: The Silver Age, giving a conclusion to Gaiman and Buckingham’s story.
