Netflix has shown that it’s committed to bringing new original content to the streaming service, not just in terms of series and films, but also with a gaggle of comedy specials. Following the likes of Anthony Jeselnik, John Hodgman, and Tom Segura, Patton Oswalt will be bringing the funny to his Netflix-exclusive special Talking for Clapping, debuting April 22. In the trailer that just dropped on the web, Oswalt gives us a taste of what to expect, discussing everything from snarky baristas to shitty proms for straight kids, with a little Star Wars-induced euthanasia thrown in for good measure.

Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping hits Netflix on April 22.

From the official comedy special description:

Patton Oswalt delivers a fresh hour (and more) of brand-new stand-up that covers everything from misery to defeat to hopelessness. It’s his most upbeat special to date. You will believe that a man is capable of: TALKING FOR CLAPPING.
