Back in February, Netflix announced that it had canceled Marvel’s Jessica Jones and The Punisher, coming off the heels of Netflix’s other Marvel series—Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage—also suffering cancellation. However, Jessica Jones’ third season was in production at the time, so viewers knew that they’d be getting at least one more installment of the surly detective/hero’s adventures.

While we don’t know the exact date of when Jessica will return to the streaming service, we do know that it will be sometime this year. The series’ official Twitter account confirmed this yesterday, along with an ominous quote and pic.

What does this mean for Jessica’s future and the lives of her friends? Hopefully the sleuth will crack that case when Marvel’s Jessica Jones returns sometime this year.
