Marvel’s Doctor Strange is set to premiere in theaters in just under two months, so it’s no surprise that the filmmakers would beginning upping the marketing ante in anticipation of the introduction of the Sorcerer Supreme to the viewing public. The latest endeavor to bring more awareness about the surgeon-turned-mystic-master to uninitiated is this newly-released featurette, which highlights the journey of Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock, Star Trek Into Darkness, The Imitation Game).
Cumberbatch and his costars ruminate on how Strange became the protector of this realm against all things demonic and supernatural, plotting his trek from arrogant physician to thoughtful sorcerer.
Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Tilda Swinton, drops in theaters on November 4th.
