While many a consternated Star Wars fan contorted their stomachs more than Yoda bouncing up and over Count Dooku with the announcement of reshoots for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, due in theaters December 16th, reshoots are a common thing in the film industry. It stands to reason that this would go doubly if the movie being reshot is the first standalone offering in one of the most successful film franchises in history. So, seriously y’all, unclench.

However, given the negative media attention the news and hubbub threw Disney and Lucasfilm’s way, it makes sense that they’d want to appease fans with some token of good will, which came in the form of new photos from Rogue One, published over at Entertainment Weekly. Admittedly, they’re pretty nifty and will perhaps be enough to keep fans’ concerns at bay until the next bit of news that can be dissected and unfairly read into.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Donnie Yen, hits theaters on December 16th.
