Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the concluding chapter in director James Gunn‘s GOTG saga from Marvel Studios, hit theaters in May, during which time we learned the final fates of Rocket, Groot, Star-Lord, Mantis, Drax, Nebula, and the rest of the space-faring team. The film was a satisfying, emotional conclusion to their epic story, owed in large part to the recounting of Rocket‘s (voiced by Bradley Cooper and motion-captured from Sean Gunn) origin tale, which we learn is heavily tied to the movie’s Big Bad, The High Evolutionary, portrayed by Chukwudi Iwuji.
While the film is now available for purchase via physical copy and digital download, many viewers have been holding out for Guardians to hit Disney+. Well, according to Disney, their wait is nearly over. The House of Mouse just announced that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will come to the streaming service on August 2nd, a mere two weeks away!
