Tony Stark wishes he could design armor as perfectly as Ashley Wood! Sure, it might not be sleek, or shiny, or made up of a billion little lines and panels, but threeA‘s version of Iron Man (the first in their 1/6th scale Marvel series) instantly captured my imagination– and my money. Always my money. The figure harkens back to Iron Man’s 70’s era suit– with the added aspect of rocket boosters on his back, and the lanky body Wood captures so well in his art.

In the review above, I take a closer look at the threeA Iron Man (Classic Edition) and am not disappointed– except that the batteries required to power him cost more than I think batteries have any right to. He takes 9 of them! It’s ridiculous!
