While we know that Marvel’s Iron Fist season one has wrapped for Netflix, I don’t know if anyone expected to see any actual footage beyond a glimpse of a logo or production stills at the San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. However, bringing a Luke Cage teaser trailer and one for Defenders didn’t seem to be enough for Marvel, as they gave fans’ eye-holes a small, one-minute appetizer of what to expect in the series featuring the kung-fu master/superhero!
Iron Fist, which stars Finn Jones (Game of Thrones) as the lead, follows Danny Rand, who goes missing as a child, returning years later a kung-fu master, wielding the power of the Iron Fist (natch), which he learned to channel during his lost time. Danny uses his might and his largess to fight crime on the streets of New York, which will surely put him into contact with folks like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage.
Iron Fist, starring Finn Jones, hits Netflix… soon-ish.
