Wolverine: Black, White & Blood series kicked off Marvel’s Black, White & Blood series five years ago to let creators stretch their legs and tell brutal adventures of the House of Ideas’ most violent characters.

In 2026, Marvel is going back to the X-Man who triggered the line–and back to his past.

Next January, Logan: Black, White & Blood will follow the adventures of the clawed superhero back before he was a member of Marvel’s merry band of mutants. Veteran storytellers to Logan’s world such as Larry Hama and Adam Kubert will join present-day creators like Tom Waltz and Saladin Ahmed to take James Howlett everywhere from his Weapon X days to his military career to even, of all places, 1970s Times Square.
