Yippee-Ki-Yay! Whether you consider it a Christmas movie or not, the beloved action film Die Hard, directed by John McTiernan, is returning to theaters just in time for the holidays and its 35th anniversary! Starring Bruce Willis and Alan RickmanDie Hard is consistently lauded as a classic, which is why 20th Century Studios is giving fans another chance to experience the film on the big screen.

 

 

Based on the book Nothing Lasts ForeverDie Hard follows NYPD officer John McClane (portrayed by Willis) who attends his estranged wife’s office Christmas party, just as a group of terrorists, led by Rickman‘s Hans Gruber, take over the building. It’s up to John to dispense with the terrorists and save his wife and her coworkers.
