Next month on Wednesday, February 1st, Dark Horse Comics will publish Minor Threats #4, written by Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum, illustrated by Scott Hepburn, colored by Ian Herring, and lettered by Nate Piekos, concluding the breakneck action-packed, hilarious, and pathos-ripe tale of a motley crew of C-list villains on a mission to take down a betrayer in their nefarious fraternity. As the official issue description states on Dark Horse‘s website, not all of the ne’er-do-wells will live to tell the tale of this battle.

Minor Threats has been a gripping and laugh-filled story from top to bottom, but what else would you expect from Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum? Their bread-and-butter is making you feel a whole host of emotions, whatever form their craft takes, and Minor Threats has been no exception. Coupled with artwork that yo-yo’s from goofy to manic to jarring, this is a book whose cast you’ll want to meet again… maybe just not in a dark alley.

Minor Threats #4 goes on sale Wednesday, February 1st, from Dark Horse Comics.

From the official issue description:

Betrayed by one of their own and at the mercy of the maniac they set out to kill, the Minor Threats are sent on a suicide mission by the Stickman into the inner sanctum of the Insomniac. See which of our cast of C-list costumed criminals make it out alive (hint: not a lot of them) as the most dangerous night of their lives comes to a nail-biting conclusion!

Minor Threats is exactly what one would expect from Patton Oswalt–it’s intelligent, funny, and twisted.  I’m also worried about him.”-Judd Apatow
