The New York Comic-Con returns this week and Rocketship Entertainment just announced what to expect from the publisher for the event.
Per Rocketship, the publisher’s CEO Tom Akel–along with some surprise guests–will be joined by Leeanne “Mongie” Krecic for the Let’s Play Returns! panel held in North-Room 406.1 at 5:45 PM on Friday, October 10.
Krecic, the creator of the webtoon Let’s Play, has had quite a busy year. Legendary studio OLM just debuted the Let’s Play anime series on Crunchyroll last week. The first three seasons of the webcomic have moved to Tapas, with a fourth season hitting next year. And currently, Krecic and Rocketship are running the Kickstarter campaign for Let’s Play Volume 6.
Attendees of the panel will get an exclusive first look at season 4 and a chance to watch a clip from the anime and behind-the-scenes production art. Further, Rocketship will give fans a first look at the upcoming Let’s Play tabletop game.
In addition to the Kickstarter for Let’s Play Volume 6, Rocketship is currently running campaigns for Vincent Kings’ Time Dog and the Dark Future and Dalgeor’s Equus Siderae Volumes 1 and 2. In addition, the publisher has teamed with Legendary Comics for a Kickstarter for the hardcover graphic novel Gaston Leroux’s Phantom of the Opera Starring Lon Chaney.
