There’s a grit and larger-than-life quality to Grevioux, Ho, and Benjamin’s tale that not only suits the yarn they’re putting together, but makes the reader believe that there are real stakes for the Amazonian warriors and their very existence. That sort of staging isn’t always easy to pull off, but the creative team accomplishes that task extraordinarily well.
