What the what?!
The Pokémon Company and BANDAI NAMCO Games are teaming up for a new arcade Pokémon game called POKKÉN TOURNAMENT. As the name implies, this appears to be a portmanteau of Tekken and Pokémon – although I highly doubt that Heihachi Mishima is going to powerbomb Squirtle at any point. No, instead this will be some kind of tournament fighting game featuring all your favorite pocket monsters.
I can’t wait… oh. it’s for Japan only. Well, maybe it’ll come State-side for the Wii U? Until then, fans will have to jealously salivate over this conceptual video and curse the day that they weren’t born in Japan.
