Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the concluding chapter in director James Gunn‘s GOTG saga from Marvel Studios, hit theaters in May, during which time we learned the final fates of RocketGrootStar-LordMantisDraxNebula, and the rest of the space-faring team. The film was a satisfying, emotional conclusion to their epic story, owed in large part to the recounting of Rocket‘s (voiced by Bradley Cooper and motion-captured from Sean Gunn) origin tale, which we learn is heavily tied to the movie’s Big Bad, The High Evolutionary, portrayed by Chukwudi Iwuji.
