There have been a bevy of teases as to when we’d see a new installment of Indiana Jones starring Harrison Ford, with release dates ranging from 2019 to 2021. While none of those dates came to pass–due in part to franchise director Steven Spielberg exiting the helm and Logan‘s James Mangold taking over–we’ve known for a few months that filming of the fifth chapter in the archaeologist adventurer’s saga wrapped production this past February. Now we have a firm (fingers crossed) date for when the movie drops.

At the Lucasfilm panel at today at the Star Wars Celebration, Harrison Ford announced that Indy will return on June 30, 2023. Along with that news, Ford commented about his pride of the film he and the cast and crew had produced and the “wonderful experience working with James Mangold.” Fans also had the chance to see the teaser image below of Dr. Jones in silhouette:

The fifth installment in the Indiana Jones saga, starring Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Mads Mikkelsen, will hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
