The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug releases on Blu Ray and DVD today and once again LEGO is getting a video game adaptation. Tot-sized fans (as well as adult kids) should be pretty familiar with TT Games’ LEGO-ized version of your favorite fantasy and sci-fi films from Harry Potter to Star Wars and it looks like we’re getting another fun romp with the LEGO The Hobbit trailer.
Pretty cute, right? I’m still somewhat off-put with talking Minifigs but I’ve slowly warmed up to the idea after the amazingly charming LEGO Marvel Heroes released late last year. If you’re a fan of The Hobbit want to relive the adventure in Middle-earth but this time acted out in a blockier and more cartoony way then you’ll probably want to check out this game. It’s being released on practically everything under the sun so you really don’t have an excuse to miss it.
