Interactive’s Batman: Arkham Knight video game! Check out these exclusive preview pages that DC Comics was kind enough to share!
If you’re a fan of the Arkham video games released by Rocksteady over the years or you’re just a fan of All Things Batman, then you really need to give this book a go. Tomasi–who has made a well-earned name handling the Batman in the series Batman and Robin and the first Batman: Arkham Knight miniseries–shows why he has become one of the writers when it comes to penning tales of the Caped Crusader. Tomasi doesn’t waste any time getting into the action and providing that narrative hook, while at the same time giving clear character delineations and personalities with just the simplest of actions and words. Don’t know much about the comics or the games? Don’t fret; Tomasi has you covered. His words and plot marry fabulously with Borges art, which has a neo-punk, edgy sensibility that just feels right for this amalgam of comic and video game.
Anyone who wants to experience the high-level of adrenaline that the Arkham games and the Bat-comics always deliver while also wanting to delve into the inner working and emergence of the Arkham Knight really needs to give this book a look. Batman: Arkham Knight – Genesis #1 hits comic book shops this Wednesday.
