Each new installment of Guardians is bittersweet, as the series caps off next issue, for Duggan and company have made the comic a joy, making it accessible to new readers while rewarding longtime fans for their diligent loyalty. It’s heartening that Duggan will continue writing the characters in some capacity–look for Marvel’s Infinity Countdown coming soon–and these preview pages make us thrilled to see how the gang goes out with a bang in issue #150.

Guardians of the Galaxy #149, the penultimate issue of the series, written by Gerry Duggan with Marcus To on art, is on sale Wednesday, December 20th, from Marvel Comics.

From the official issue description:

The Guardians are officially Nova Corpsmen! How is Drax going to deal with being overrun by Ultron-ized aliens when he still refuses to throw a punch? And are we really trusting Rocket to clean up the Corps? Plus: I heard a rumor…is there an Infinity Stone kicking around?
