Ahead of this year’s Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 4th, Dark Horse Comics just released information about two stories it will offer: an issue featuring two all-ages tales in the Star Wars universe and the world of Plants vs. Zombies!
Per Dark Horse’s press release, the Star Wars story will series collide, with a tale featuring characters from Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures from the Disney+ show and from Dark Horse’s Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. From the talents of writer Daniel José Older, artist Andy Duggan, and colorist Dan Jackson, and lettered by Comicraft, the story Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures—Sky Parade Rescue stars younglings and follows what they’re getting up to in the House That Lucas Built.
Meanwhile, in Plants vs. Zombies: The Origin of Zomboss, writer Paul Tobin, artist Lusia Russo, colorist Heather Breckel, and letterer Steve Dutro explore Dr. Zomboss’ rise as a zombie leader.
