One of the most beloved fan-favorites of the original team of Runaways is Old Lace, partner to Gertrude “Arsenic” Yorkes and, later, Chase Stein in the previous series. The latest teaser for the Runaways revival should make fans roar with joy, as it features the Deinonychus dinosaur.
It’s worth noting the Old Lace’s roar in the promo image bears a question mark at the end. Is she still recovering from being separated from Chase prior to her rescue in Avengers Academy? Is her telepathic link with Chase broken? Does her original partner, the deceased Gertrude, factor in to her confusion somehow? We’ll have to wait until later this year to find out.
