New ONCE UPON A DEADPOOL Trailer Is Straight Up Savage

We’ve known for a while that Once Upon a Deadpool—the cleaned-up version of Deadpool 2—would be coming to theater and would riff off the Peter Falk/Fred Savage interplay of The Princess Bride. However, snazzy as it is, all we’d gotten was a poster and some production stills in the way of peeks at the film, which hits December 12^th.

However, today, Christmas came early, as Fox just dropped the first trailer of Once Upon a Deadpool—complete with a grown-up Fred Savage and at the mercy of the Merc with a Mouth.

As promised, the film looks to be F-bomb free, but with enough new footage to entice fans debating whether or not to drop the price of a movie ticket on a remixed Deadpool 2. In the single minute in the trailer alone, Ryan Reynolds-as-Mr. Pool verbally cuts Up, pokes fun at Fox’s Marvel stable of movies, and trades verbal barbs with Savage.

Once Upon a Deadpool hits theaters on December 12^th and will run for 12 days. A portion of the proceeds will go to the charity “Fuck Cancer.”
