This is a big weekend for Rocketship Entertainment, the publisher that for the past several years has worked to bring webcomics to the printed page, teaming with a whole host of creators and entertainment company. Rocketship will be at WonderCon at the Anaheim Convention Center all weekend: Friday, March 24 through Sunday, March 26.

The publisher will be at the Rocketship Way Station (booth #1605), at the center all three days on the main floor, selling everything from games to graphic novels to other merchandise. In addition, the Way Station will highlight some of Rocketship‘s bevy of creators, from Leeanne M. Krecic (Let’s Play, Everdate), Ryan Benjamin (Brothers Bond, Stan Lee’s Genesis) to the publisher’s CEO  Tom Akel (Stan Lee’s Genesis, Stan Lee’s Backchannel). Krecic will be doing signings of Let’s Play prints on Friday at 3:30; Saturday at 4:00; and Sunday at 11:00. Akel and Benjamin will also be signing prints from their upcoming Stan Lee’s Genesis tabletop game, with Benjamin drawing characters from the game for booth visitors.

Comics legend Marv Wolfman (The New Teen TitansCrisis on Infinite Earths) will be a convention guest. Wolfman and Rocketship are partnering to publish Mekk and Me, Wolfman‘s first all-ages graphic novel, through Rocketship‘s Bottlerocket imprint for young readers.

Also, coming off the massive success of the Kickstarter campaign for her dating simulation game Everdate, Eisner and Ringo nominee Leeanne M. Marv Wolfman will also be a guest at the convention. CEO & publisher Tom Akel announced at the ComicsPRO industry conference last month that the legendary writer of The New Teen Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earths will be publishing his first all ages graphic novel Mekk and Me through Rocketship Entertainment’s young readers imprint Bottlerocket!
