Just this week, Marvel Comics announced that the X-Men hero known as Wolverine will go toe-to-toe with his mortal enemy Sabretooth this January in “Sabretooth War” by writers Benjamin Percy and Victor LaVelle and artists Cory Smith and Geoff Shaw. And now the House of Ideas just announced via press release that the Marvel mutant mainstay will face off with another ferocious killer in September in Predator Versus Wolverine! Brought to readers by the creative team of Percy, Ken Lashley, Greg Land, and Andrea Di Vito (with a cover by Marco Checchetto), this book will surely have the savagery we’ve come to expect from both characters. Disney‘s acquisition of Fox seems to be continuing to be a win where the comics are concerned, as this clash might not have been possible otherwise.
